FINANCIAL OBLIGATION
Debt is not as simple as it may seem. In its most simplified context, though, we can imagine a person that has some amount of debt and they repay that debt. End of story. But, life is never that simple and there are always more variables to consider. What are the prevailing interest rates? What, if any, other possible investments may be made? What is the time frame for which the debt must be repaid? What is the risk of repayment? Etc., etc.

We are happy to advise on the many things that should be considered before taking any action, pre and post-receipt of any debt.

DEFERRED CONSUMPTION
Saving is a very powerful tool for accomplishing your financial goals; if you have $100,000 invested and in one year achieve a return of 10% you will have $110,000 at the end of the year. But, if you save an additional $10,000 that year, your return would effectively double. If you save $20,000 that year, your return would be triple. Even more fantastic, the return associated with savings is essentially risk-free (relative to the return from an investment).
